1. Introduction
Welcome to the ISKCON SALEM Temple website and mobile application. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our digital platforms and services provided by ISKCON Salem (“Temple”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making donations, registering for events, or accessing our spiritual archives. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
2. Donation Policy
All donations made through our platform are voluntary. We strive to use these funds specifically for the spiritual, educational, and charitable activities of the ISKCON Salem community.
- 80G Tax Exemption: Donations are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. A receipt will be sent to your registered email automatically.
- Refunds: Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot be refunded except in cases of technical error or unauthorized transaction.
- Processing Fees: While we use secure payment gateways, some platforms may apply a nominal transaction fee, which will be disclosed at the time of donation.
3. Event Attendance
Registration for events (physical or virtual) is subject to availability. The Temple reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any person who violates the sanctity of the temple premises or disturbs the spiritual environment.

4. Media & Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to photographs of deities, audio recordings of bhajans/kirtans, literature, and temple graphics, is the intellectual property of ISKCON SALEM.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use temple media for commercial purposes without explicit written consent from the temple administration.
5. User Responsibilities
As a user of our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information for donations and registrations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Use our forums and community spaces with respect and devotion.
- Refrain from any activity that disrupts the website’s technical infrastructure.
6. Limitation of Liability
ISKCON SALEM provides the website on an “as is” basis. While we strive for 100% uptime and accuracy, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
In no event shall the Temple be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our digital platforms or participation in temple events.
