Instructions
  1. 1 cup yellow mung däl 3 cups of rice & cook it.
  2. Separately grind paste: 4 # red chillies 3" ginger piece 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1 large coconut scraped 6 tsp poppy seeds  
Masala:
  1. Fry 2 # green chillies on ghee
  2. Add few curry leaves and ads the above paste and cook for 10 min
  3. Add tomato paste from 2 kg
  4. add salt and 1 tsp turmeric powder Cook till raw smell of tomatoes disappear
  5. Mix with kitcheri and cook together for 5 minutes
  6. (Optional to add few fried lady fingers)
