Instructions
In coconut oil fry masala:
  1. 1 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp 1 1/2 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp asafoetida 15# curry leaves
  2. Add toovar dhal and cook for some time
  3. Add the vegetable salt and cook
Add powder masala:
  1. 2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp sambhar masala powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp chilli powder
  2. Cook 'till vegetables are done 80 %
  3. Add rice and cook till rice is 90% cooked
  4. Add 1 cup of tamarind pulp and 1/3 cup of jaggery
  5. Fry lightly in coconut oil and paste it
masala:
  1. 1 tsp fenugreek seed 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp coriander seeds 10# pepper corns 2" cinnamon stick 1/2 cup grated coconut
  2. Add and cook for another 10 min
  3. Garnish with coriander leaves.
