Instructions
  1. Masala: 1 tsp mustard seeds 2 tsp bengal gram däl 2 tsp urad däl Curry leaves
  2. Soak for 3 hours green mung däl Cook it together with rice .
  3. In a separate vessel pour ghee and fry green chillies, mint leaves for few minutes.
  4. Grind it with coconut tamarind and salt.
  5. Add to kitcheri when 75% rice & dhal are cooked.
  6. At the end season the kitcheri with masala.
  7. Optional to deep fry few potatoes and add to the kitcheri at the end
