  1. Cook 1 cup of mung däl and 3 cups of rice
  2. In another pan add: 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp fennel seeds 1/3 tbsp asafoetida
  3. Add cut veg. and 1 tbsp mishri powder (sugar) & cook for 5-10 min
  4. 1 tbsp turmeric paste 1/2 tbsp black pepper paste 1 tbsp ginger paste
  5. Add salt and water & cook till done
  6. 1 tbsp amchur (dry mango) powder or squeeze 1/2 of lemon
  7. Add to boiled rice and däl and cook for 5-10 min.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
