  1. 3 cups of rice and 1 cup of mung dhal boil in a vessel
  2. Cut lady fingers in 1" pieces and fry them in little of ghee 'till the sticky water and sound disappears.
  3. In a separate pan fry: 1 tsp Cumin ½ tsp Mustard ¼ Asafetida 2 tsp Ginger paste Few curry leaves 1 tomato (cut into small pieces)
  4. Add fried lady fingers and fry for few min in masala
  5. add ½ tsp Coriander powder ½ tsp Turmeric powder 2 tsp Sabji or garam masala powder 15 badam paste (or poppy seeds)
  6. When ghee appears on the top add to rice and däl
  7. And cook for another 5 -10 min.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
