  1. 1 cup of saamai boil in 4 cups of water
  2. In pan fry lady fingers till water splattering sound disappears - put aside
  3. In ghee fry Masala: 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp fennel 4 # cloves 2" cinnamon stick
  4. Add potato & fry in masala till 90% cooked
  5. With ladle remove potato left and right making in the middle empty circle so that you can fry 4 tsp of ginger chilli paste.
  6. When ginger changes the smell add tomatoes, salt and powder masala:
  7. Add lady fingers & cook till raw smell of tomatoes disappear
  8. When ready mix with boiled saamai and cover it for 10 min.

      Yes, Saamai can be used for Ekadasi.

      Saamai is kind of millet which is available in South India. Devotees use it for Ekadasi
