  1. In Mustard seed oil deep fry eggplant and potatoes (before frying smear them with turmeric powder and salt)
  2. In a separate vessel fry 1 tbsp panch phoran
  3. Add 1 cup of mung däl & fry for 5 min
  4. then add 1 tbsp turmeric powder & add water
  5. When 80% cooked add 3 cups of rice and boil
  6. At the end add 1 tbsp black pepper powder 2 tbsp panch phoran powder
  7. Add vegetables and keep lid covered for 10 min
  8. Add 1 cup of yogurt and mix well.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves
