  1. 1tbsp ghee and 1 tbsp turmeric powder add to 1 cup of toovar däl and 1/2 cup of chickpea and cook it
  2. When dhal is half cooked add the rest of vegetables
  3. When vegetables are 80% cooked add 3 cups of rice
  4. When rice is 80% cooked add 1/3 cup of coconut oil and paste masala
  5. Masala: (dry fry masala and grind it into paste by adding a little water) 5 tsp coriander seeds 1 tbsp black pepper corns 2½ tsp bengal gram 1 1/4 tsp urad däl 5# cinnamon 4# cloves 1 tsp fenugreek 1 tsp cumin 5 tsp grated dry coconut 6# maratha maggu (big size cloves)
  6. Add 1 cup of tomato pure
  7. 3 tbsp of jaggery
  8. Cook till veg. are ready & at the end add 2 -3 tbsp of lemon juice
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves
