Ingredients
- 2 cups Mixed Vegetables
- 2 cups Rice
- 1 cup Mung Dhal
- 1 tbsp panch phoran masala
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 3 Cinnamon sticks
- 5 Cloves
- 4 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 3/4 tbsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
Instructions
- Fry in mustard seed oil: 1 tbsp panch phoran masala 2 bay leaves 3 cinnamon stick 5 cloves 4 tbsp ginger paste (or ginger and green chili paste)
- Add powder masala and fry till aroma comes: 1 tbsp turmeric powder 3/4 tbsp ginger powder 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- add dal & vegetables and fry for 5 min Add water , salt and when veg. are half done add rice Cook till ready (should be liquid, after some time it becomes solid)
