Instructions
  1. Add salt to rice and mung dhal and boil together "till cooked
  2. In a separate vessel fry masala: 1tbsp cumin seeds 2 cloves 2 cardamoms 2 bay leaves 3 tbsp ginger paste
  3. Add beans and salt and cook without water 'till beans are half done;
  4. Add carrot and potato and cook with covered lid without adding any water;
  5. When veg. are 90% cooked, add 1 1/2 cup of tomato pure and 2 tbsp mishri, 1 tbsp of pepper powder 1/s tbsp of kashmiri chili powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tbsp of amchur powder 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  6. When cooked add to kitcheri and boil together for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
